I know that savegames are supposed to be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Rule The Waves\Save. However, I can only see temporary .txt files in each save named temp.txt. I have SaveGames saved, but they don't show up here.
I don't get it. Why isn't it here? If this is supposed to be like this, where are the games saved?

Windows 10 will redirect the save games files written for the game to your OS installations 'virtualstore' location if you install the game under the 'Program Files(x86)' folder. This is basically Windows not allowing legacy programs to write into the Program Files folder, ostensibly for security reasons.
The files are moved to something like: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\[RTW2 FOLDER NAME]\Save\
You can find the virtualstore folder on your PC by the following process:
1) Right-click the Start button and select Run to open the Run command in Windows. (Keyboard Shortcut: Windows key + R) 2) In the Run Command box, type %localappdata%\virtualstore and hit Enter on your keyboard. 3) You should now see the Virtual Store folder on your screen.
