I hope you open the DLC beta up to some experienced souls familiar with this game that have, over time, given valuable, intimate suggestions so they can use a fresh set of eyes to lay bare some things to identify that you missed.
Edit: not volunteering.

Just so the title of this thread doesn't sound like an advertisement I have taken the liberty to edit it. As far as needing new testers I believe you'll have the DLC in your hands before we could vet applicants- as William said it is 98% done.
There may be an avenue for community involvement in regards to some continuing work after the DLC release, but that has yet to be determined.

You editing my post, no worries. Was just trying to help! I’ve noticed you guys get the math side down pretty good, but, at the risk of sounding sexist, and I’m not trying to be, I don’t think you all have a girl on the team and it shows. Look at the map. Land is a solid color. It hurts the eyes. A girl wouldnt go for that. She’d have sprinkled a few different colored grains of green and flowers to make it not look like the giant green blob it is. I think the best example I’ve seen is the land mass representation on the game ultimate admiral where they just gave the green blob some pretty treatment. Rtw2 needs the same. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Battle That game by Mattel in 1980 has the same land mass graphical representation rtw has. That game is 42 years ago. Can we do better? I loved that game as a kid growing up, lol. www.gamesdatabase.org/Media/SYSTEM/Mattel_Intellivision/Snap/big/Sea_Battle_-_1980_-_Mattel_Electronics.jpgAlso, QoL features, like, I forget now, but it had to do with mundane things like moving or copying aircraft to multiple bases was not easy or permitted. I think selecting multiple bases and copying to all bases was a thing not supported. It’s a time saver, really, and the interface could be smart knowing there’s already a squadron of the size you want that’s more experienced and not overwriting them, instead either move them to reserve or replace everything else at the base. Buncha stuff like that. Carry on. Looking forward to the dlc. Thanks for the response.

Can we maybe get a few land texture sliders that will add various colors to the land mass along with sliders for the amount of grain added? I think some slider action for the land mass to pretty it up would be great!

Well while as per gender you may (or may not) be correct, we do have high artistic goals with the new release. However as to the map color, that was and is distinctly by Fredrik's design, as it mimics nautical charts from the 40s and 50s I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Right now the map very much matches the creator's vision. However coloring the Strategic and Battle Map would not be hard to do as a mod, or even on a per game basis, so perhaps someone would be motivated to take that on.
Also, UA is a distinctly different product with a production house and huge budget. RTW is about as "Indie" as Indie can get, Indy.

Haha, fair enough. Alright, be sure to let us know how to mod those assets. 😜
