Hi folks. I bought the game some days before and I am really facinated, how enjoyable it is, to build my own fleet. And with the v1.23 patch released five days ago, the game stole my heart. However, there are two things at the moment I don't get. As I play in Admirals Mode in difficulty settings, I see a couple of buttons, when I right click my leading squad or any other squad of my forces. The most I understand, even that I can't select them, because they are grayed out. May I need to research fleet tactics before? The only thing I Cann click is 'flotilla attack'. What's that for? The second thing is, when I watch the data of enemy ships, there is a kind of star rating in the upper right. What's that fore? And as a small note: I know, it's a sandbox simulation, but I never made it to build all historical ships of the German Imperial Navy. When I am up to build the Braunschweig Class, my money ends. Same with the cruiser. Prinz Adalbert and Ron Class for armoured cruiser and Bremen Class for Light Protected Cruiser ends my ambitions. Anyway, it's a really enjoyable game. Thumbs up! ?

Ships gain a star per each combat mission they're part of. Not sure if it increases the crew experience, or is just some nice window dressing.
In the Admiral mode most of commands are disabled to simulate you don't have this kind of hands-on input on their tactics. "Flotilla attack" issues an order for your destroyer squads to try and launch torpedo attacks at the targets they find viable (whether the attack succeeds is handled by the AI, and early in the game when your torpedo technology is very primitive, that will rarely happen)

Thanks so far.
Btw, just another question comes into my mind. Will the AI also fight wars and battles between two AI controlled nations?

The stars are battle stars. Your ships will get them too, ships get one per battle they take part in. It will not in itself affect crew quality, but it is an indicator that it is a veteran ship. After a period of peace, ships will often have lost crew quality from being in reserve.
AI nations will not fight each other, unless as part of an alliance.
BTW Glad you liked the game!

Ok. Thanks.
Btw: You should put somewhere a note for caution, that this game will eat your time away, hehe.
Anyway, just one small suggestion, I would ask for in a future update: Would it be possible to set the values to the metric system as well?
Cheers.
