Hello everybody,
I have a question since in October the developers are planning to release RTW3 (which is awesome by the way) how should I proceed? Shall I buy RTW2 now or wait for RTW3? I have to admit I want to play Rule The Waves 2 already but I'm not sure if there will ever be another update for that game. In other words, kind developers, are you planning on transitioning all of yours resources and assets to RTW3?

Welcome to the forums, and thank you for the kind words! I believe that some minor updates (bug fixes, etc) for RTW2 may still be a possibility, but I will need to ask Fredrik W to be certain. Now obviously major stuff added to RTW3 would not be ported back to RTW2, so I guess it all depends upon your level of patience and how much money you wish to spend in the time frame? |

Thank you for your fast response! After giving it some thought I've decided to buy RTW2. I also plan on buying S&I in the not so far future.
I hope RTW3's development goes well and that everything works out for you and your team. I've been reading the major topic on RTW3 and the implementation of Steam could potentially be a huge thing for certain people - Armoured Commander II, another favorite of mine, has had some noticeable success when published on that platform, here's hoping the same goes for RTW3.
