Hey guys. As I am in a play threw with the Kaiserliche Kriegsmarine (Imperial German Navy), I am at the third war with France. I could sink a pretty amount of old France battleships with my brand new dreadnoughts. However, the game wants me to fight almost every turn a fleet battle. It's a kind of odd and leads me to the question: can I somehow influence, wich battle type I am able to play? Maybe an option to send my Highsea Fleet out for a decisive battle or to let them stay in the homeport?
The other question I have: after some battles I am asked, if the fought ball shall be remembered as a memorial or decisive battle. What happens when I select yes, what when I select no? For what is it good in overall?
Thanks so far.

The type of battle is randomized. It is to some extent affected by your force disposition, if you have cruisers all over the World for example, you can expect more cruiser battles in distant areas. Normally, about 20% of battles should be Fleet Battles, so the prevalence of fleet battles in your game is probably up to chance.

Thanks so far. there are graphs at the end of your campaign that will show you any decisive battle you selected to remember. from what i have experienced, you can't look at the details of those battles, it just shows the battle name in the graphs. i'd say yes to the battles you won/enjoyed, finish a campaign, and you'l see what i mean

Thanks so far for the answers. I'll have a watch on the upcomming battles. About the memoriable battles, I may thought, it effects the unrest level in my country. However, thanks for clarification. To 1925 I have some 10 years left to go.
