Bit of an oddball one this.
Playing as Austria-Hungaria, 1900 start, manual build, max fleet size, 60 plane limit, harsh peace deals.
Initially at war with France, since joined by Italy.
Previous turn, my AV (Elizabeth II), assigned to raiding in West Africa, was sent home for repairs and had the little (2) indicator to represent how long she was out of action for.
After completing the next battle, I was then informed that Elizabeth II had been damaged and was now interned, presumably because she counted as being in West Africa.
Doubly odd as I had about 20 raiders in action for a fairly low chance of Elizabeth II being the victim 2 turns running!!

The 2 means that ship needs 2 month of repairs.
As she was raiding far from home, the captain decided to sail to neutral port.

Might need to reconsider the message then.
The pop-up screen says that "Raider X has returned home due to mechanical problems", which to me means that they have returned to a home port for repairs and as such shouldn't be a viable target for internment.
In this particular case, as A-H, that to me means they returned from where they were assigned to the Med.

The wording could use improvement, agreed.
