Hi all,
Today I started my first 1.31 campaign as Imperial Germany with Historical Budgets. In early 1903 I get into my first war with Russia and the second battle my light cruiser intercepts a slightly larger russian raider. No hits are scored during the first hour of the Engagement but then the battle suddenly ends with the russian cruiser blowing up after the first hit from a 3" secondary Shell to one the unarmored main battery mounts of my enemy
Somehow I was convinced a Flash fire could only happen to gun Mounts bigger than 6" so now I'm not sure what to think of this, did I just witness a once in blue moon Freak incident or a bug?
Attached is a picture of the log entry for the russian cruiser together with its technical data. Yes its weaponry is completly unprotected, but I'm not sure if a hit to an unshielded 6" gun should be enough to tear a 5200t cruiser apart, at least not on a regular basis.
Would be happy to hear other peoples thoughts.

Forgot to mention how I love the way 1.30/1.31 has improved the AI build behaviour with regard to cruisers. Great work!

There is a much lower chance of flash fires for light and medium guns, and for CL, but it can happen. Not a bug, and nothing has been changed in this regard in 1.31.

I'd second the praise for the new update. It's been a bit of a shock to see the AI take some of my design tricks and show me it can play games too.
The autobuild problem with DDs and MSs seems to be gone. Much appreciated!
