Looking at page 26 of the SAR rules, "BHF" is included in the Air to Surface Combat table. I'm guessing that refers to "Bomb Hit Factor" in a manner similar to Torpedo Hit Factor from page 17. However, I cannot find BHF defined or referenced outside that table.
Do I index the number of bombs used in the attack and add the resulting BHF to the attacker's 1d6 role as is done with torpedo combat?

Great to hear from you!
You are exactly correct, index the # of bombs dropped on the "#" column and read acorss to get the BHF that is added to the attackers roll, just like the process done for torpedoes. Don't forget that on Page 54 there is the optional 'expansion' rule added that limits the number of bombs each individual aircraft can drop against each target vessel each game turn.
