I want to test the SAI engine with WWII ships and so I made a classic scenario " Capo Spada 1940" " The Italian cruiser Colleoni and Bande Nere on their way NW of Crete intercept 4 british DD but in the running fighting the 2 Italian cruisers had a bad surprise".
Hope you like it

This scenario not work properly. It require additional Leander and G_H_I class. I also tryed to create WW2 battles and found that guns range is too low in any case. I think we must use maximum +3 quality modifier for WW2 guns, but it also too low.

How did you put the armor and gunnery data for the Italian and British ships?

I got the essential data (armour, guns, speed....) from the books "Italian warships of WW II -by Aldo Fraccaroli - Ian Allan 1968" and "Warships of WW II - Lenton & Colledge - Ian Allan 1973 " and i consider Belt coverage "narrow" and Fire control only "Rangefinder" for the italian cruisers to simulate their bad protection and low precision, for the Sydney normal belt coverage and improved DCT.

A couple of issues that have been raised previously may be of assistance: -
- Improved DCT does not work. This will give very bad gunnery results.
- Gunnery modifier is for range and armour penetration. Armour penetration increases by 10% up to +2. Range increases by 10% up to +5 (A reduction in rate of fire also kicks in at -2 and below).
You can thus increase ranges more in line with WW2 and the armour penetration will reflect the improved shells. You can't do anything to reflect improvements in fire control though.

It would be useful to make a lists of all editor feature (working and not working)
