Just wondering...
The dynamic of aircraft spotting and revealing enemies on the map, moving toward enemy ships, doing a bomb/torp/strafe run are not well talked about. I'd like to know if we will hear torp splashes, bomb drops, strafe attack sound effects and hits.
TY!

There are added sound effects in RTW2 when compared to RTW, yes.

Is there SE when the ship was hit by enemy ship's gun? For example, like guaaaaan or boooom or guooooon...(Japanese use a lot of Onomatopoeia)

Thanks for the reply, williammiller. I was hoping we could get a quick whistling sound when an air group drops ordinance and a boom if they hit or a splash if they miss. Admittedly, I've no idea how the planes work, or how their sound works, but I'm thinking how nice it would be to hear that kind of sound effect so you'd know what your planes are doing... I wasn't a big fan of reading somewhere where the planes only generate a log you have to read... Audio cues are great too!

Though I’m usually playing game with very low volume so I can’t be sure.

My first thought when i saw this thread was "oh yeah, i forgot the WERE sounds."

The best use of sounds for aerial combat/attacks in RTW2 would be as an alert/cue to the player something is happening, so likely the sounds will be used singularly in an attack, not once for each individual aircraft firing/dropping bombs/obtaining a hit(which would be basically impossible anyway if you have 100+ aircraft clashing or attacking a task force).

Yeah, thats what I was hoping for... an ordinance drop sound and a splash or a hit to denote if a particular airgroup was successful in attacking a ship. Often I've read where an entire airgroup of 20-30+ planes mostly missed with perhaps a single hit if any among them all.
