While we've seen that information on gun penetration and armor is already being made more accessible in RTW 2, there are some other factors which I'd like to know more about. Particularly, I'd very much like to be able to see data on the rate of fire of a given weapon, and the explosive power of both its HE and AP shells, with respect to present technology. I believe that both of these details will enable players to make better decisions in ship design.

I would also like to see a greater extend of gun quality used regularly, from -2 to +2.

Yeah, it would be good to at least know the average penetration of HE and SAP shells.

Yeah, it would be good to at least know the average penetration of HE and SAP shells. At least a confirmation of how the penetration of those shells are computed would be nice. AFAIK the penetration of SAP shells in particular is still up for debate.

AFAIK the penetration of SAP shells in particular is still up for debate. I think penetration of SAP is not so worse as AP. With 15" and 16" guns it could be used quite reliable on AI ships.
