Please forgive me if this has been answered already. I might have even asked this already and forgotten, but my search-fu failed me.
I'd love to see a separate volume control for all the auditory categories that play sound in RTW2. I've resorted to remodulating the gunfire in a sound editor to reduce the sound so I can play music in the background, but it's dicey with all the other sound effects. Having a volume control would solve my sound issue. It's a really annoying problem and I hope you add this feature.

If you right click on your icon of "reproductor" in windows, you can set up volume for every application. I do it regurarly to have RTW on minimal level. But but could be probably better have it in game.

I mute RtW since I find that the sounds don't add anything and I tend to listen to other stuff while playing, but this would be a nice feature.

you can adjust the sound in windows for the game; but yes, having a built in volume control would be excellent.
IMO it could also be worthwhile to find a very shallow (IE low volume) and royalty free song to play in game so that its not simply silence. If its shallow enough any repetitiveness wouldn't be offensive. This could simply be "ocean sounds" instead of music.

As someone who regularly has an overall volume level of 4 in Windows, dropping RTW to 1 still produces some jarringly loud sounds. Simple volume controls would be a boon.

I have to set the volume in Windows to 4 out of 100 before starting RtW, which rules out playing anything in the background.
In game volume control would be great.
