Hi guys.
How do AV's work in combat? The interim manual says they function using the strike ready interface like conventional carriers. When I set my floatplanes to recon and tell them to 'ready a strike' I can then not launch the floatplanes as even a single aircraft exceeds the deckload of my AV. When I go through the routine flight operations they never launch.
What am I doing wrong?

I just discovered there is a bug in the application of the spot value with ships without catapults, so they are not able to launch aircraft. Sorry about that. It seems in our testing we always had ships with catapults.

Always relieved to know I'm just that small little bit less insane! Glad I could be of help this close to release.
EDIT: While I'm at it, I've not seen my naval air stations launch either. I have seen the few airship bases I tried out launch, though.

I've seen a naval base launch a TB strike (although it launched it 90 degrees from the only sighting contact and 120 degrees from the enemy's present position and found nothing).
