Is the upper size limit for destroyers raised? Do we know how big they can get?

Digging through the research2.dat file, I see up to 2.5K. Not the 3K in the 18"+ armor mod, but still nice and beefy!

Confirming, 2500t through save editing.
However, firepower/speed bonus over 1500t designs is negligble. Not sure if the curve works right. Perhaps I just need more practice with it.

I wonder if there's a time/date factor in that, in the same way there was in RTW1. Could a dev confirm?
