Yup. Definitely didn't manage that one...

Yup. Definitely didn't manage that one... There is an unstated requirement to sink the ships within some distance - maybe 50nmi or so - of the objective marker when you have a "sink N ships" objective

Probably pretty common, but I'll mention it here.
1912, haven't build a Battlecruiser yet, only have 11" guns (AH). They aren't even very good (-1). So I figure, ok I got the tech, let's build a Battlecruiser with 11" guns. Design ship. Next month: "Your researchers have discovered 12" guns!"

I do not understand. France should sink 2 ships and did not manage to sink single one.

After a few hours of gunfire, my battleship fleet was not heavily damaged, neither was the Russian battleship fleet. Gunnery was just too uneffective to cause any damage or even hit. But after about 2 hours one of my battleship managed to hit enemy battleship with HE shell from its 6in secondary gun, and guess what, Russian ship went boom in a second. I think that the penetration value for 6in HE at such range was cca 0in, so I think that those French comrades managed to build a B ship with unarmored magazines. Cool enough... May be report it as a bug. Magazines has another protection around. So 6" HE shell should not pass through.
Just thinking. Is it possible that damage done through shell fire can damage protection enough that 6" HE shell can go through?
I will, that shell totaly bipased all and every armour value present on the ship and if such thing every happens to my ship, I will first write rude things on this forum and then I´ll throw the keyboard out of the window.

I sadly couldn't document it cause it was so unexpected, but I'm stomping on Russia as Japan for the second time in 3 years and they are declining almost every battle cause they didnt have time to build a new fleet since the last war
So it goes
Battleship engagement Enemy declines
Enemy coastal raid Enemy declines
Suprise attack! Enemy declines
Wait what?

I don't know if you guys have run into this one before, but I stumbled across it for the first time today. I know those early CV conversions were always strange ducks, but, seriously, they must have a pretty high attrition rate on landings on these things..

AI has absolutely NO clue on what to rebuild, and if their tech is low and they cant rebuild ship into CV, they have no problem rebuilding a 40 000 ton battlecruiser into CVL...

If you get a blockade then I want one, too! Oh, wait, I already have one...
Also ... ... Ow. I don't know whether to call it spectacularly lucky or exceptional shooting, but four (of twelve total) main battery guns knocked out in the space of a minute, plus some harm to the secondaries? I'd say armor the guns, but even in 1903 it's probably not reasonable for a 3,100t cruiser to put enough armor on a 4" main battery to protect against 5" AP at 3183 yards.

I was promised a medium cruiser battle and got to stomp two CAs and one CL with two Yamatos along with two CVs and their escort squadron. I'd hate being on the receiving end of that one. The night allowed them two torpedo hits, or it would have been even more hilariously one-sided. Attachments:

This marvel of Italian engineering does not only have its sole 3 gun turret in Q instead of A, and its funnels in the middle of the forward armament. One of the funnels actually goes straight through the B turret.
