Auto Design (and AI Design) doesn't seem to respect research, I've had the aformentioned triple above water tubes (even on CAs) guns that I didn't have, DP secondaries and mains that I can't use, secondaries that are too large, AA before I have AA, etc. There are also quality 5 guns, e.g. Austrian 8" at start.

Some other cruiser weirdness, this time from France. Both with 1900 build dates.

Looks like some 1920 start design found their way into the 1900 start...

As per screenshot, I don't have any buttons for saving or advancing time or leaving.

building starting fleet, A-H, 1900, designing a CL - if i remove deck armour the 'check' button and 'save' button no longer work. if i put 1" of deck armour back the buttons start working again

It's not possible to build refitted designs. Let's say I build a ship in 1902. Then I make a refit in 1905. If I then want to make a new ship I can only make the original 1902 version, despite 1905s being in service. Is that intentional?
Edit: If a new FC system becomes available during construction and i decide to add it to ship in construction, I can then build the upgraded version as usual, so I guess it is a bug.

Some serious weirdness with legacy builds (1900 Russia, Very large, historical). Also nice to see the AI with 2x as many cruisers as destroyers.
Also in the ship designer if you have errors like no turret top armor, no deck armor on CL/CA it doesnt give an error message clickign the confirm or save button just does nothing.

I think it is intention. Why do you want to build inferior ship? Just create new design. Ship will be better or cheaper.

A coastal artillery battery moved from one battle to the next. At first it was on the southern tip of Saaremaa Island, next it moved across the Irbe Strait to the northern tip of the Courland Peninsula.

started as A-H 1900, built my CLs and Bs in UK, did an immediate refit to the CL in my own docks so it gets refitted at the right place in the future, and it lets me build those refitted CLs
when i got 16,00t docks i did the same for my Bs but it won't let me build the refit so i can only build the original design Bs in UK

for those on windows 10 having this problem, I'm curious if the problem persists for you in the demo as well, or if it is unique to the release version I didn't try the demo as I wanted to wait for the full release In the demo, you can't build a legacy fleet yourself, so it never came up.

Speed in Nation data
All ships in all nations including main shows speed of 18 knots in the list. It is certainly bug.
If some of the cruisers are opened, the new ones from different nations (same style) shows 22 knots at time speed is about 29-30 knots and checked in design and save, it is 30 knots. So huge difference could not be true as nobody can expect 22 knots modern cruiser build in 1917.

so i decide to restart as A-H 1900, i repeat building my starting fleet CL/Bs in UK
however in my first game i rebuilt my CL during the first turn 'build fleet' phase and was able to construct the refit CL in my docks afterwards
this game i refit my CL on the first game turn instead and am unable to build the refit CL
so if you refit a ship built in another country before the game starts it will treat the ship like you built it in your own docks
