Do not expect to much from airpower Before the 1930s or even 1940s. I don't know if anyone here knows "War in the Pacific" from Matrix Games. There was a spin off a few years back called War Plan Orange. You could start in 1920 or 1925. You did have airplanes, but you could savely ignore them. Carriers were more scouts than the powerful weapons they became in WW2. So, up to about 1936, when the planes start getting better, Flying Boats included, the battleship still rules. Tell that to my six large CVLs with 34 torpedo bombers each. The enemy capitals stand no chance. A single CVL can wreck a 40000 ton BB in one strike, and they don't even need fighter escorts since I'm the only one actively using carriers. This worked wonderfully ever since carriers became available, and I'd argue that in the 20's it's even more overpowered since the enemy ships have less AA, torpedo protection, and land-based air support. Cool to see other people talking about AH-playthroughs 1929's Mediterranean looks...different than what it did historically . Greece I got through event. The rest...well let's say the Italians and me had some serious ongoing arguments .

Lol I wish, that'd made the Italians mad as all hecks too, so it'd been ideal!!!!
Nah, the usual one about the place being a mess, needing someone to put it in order and hey, look, we could go there and take it for ourselves so we are the ones putting order XD.
