Compared to RTW1 RTW2 obviously offers a lot of improvements especially for the middle of the 20th century era, eg CVs. Are there any significant improvements for the 1st decade of the 20th century too? Thank you.

There's also some general quality-of-life improvements, like a better trade war UI (one pop-up for everything), one-pop up for multiple destroyers completed in one turn, that kind of thing. I'm also fairly sure (but need to play more) that the ship design model is more nuanced now as well.

...and the many small convenient tweaks of the UI, such as merging all launches of DD/KE units into a single "xx corvettes launched" window. Also, the new raider/submarine summary, invasion planning and dozens of new events, which add an even more balanced feel to the game. And sooner or later we will surely see people here maxing out the dockyard capacity and produce 60.000 ts behemoths in 1916, or so.

Thank you for your hints! The years before the great war are still my favourite era. Years ago I made a legacy fleet, consisting of more historic ships and ship classes of the Kaiserliche Marine as per January 1900 that worked pretty well for the lower versions of RtW1: nws-online.proboards.com/thread/463/legacy-fleet-kaiserliche-marine-january. Toying with the idea, if sth similar would be possible for RtW2 too.
