Just did a rather large invasion battle, playing japan agaisnt russia. they had eight B's and I had seven, however mine were good enough to scare them off it seems.
We fought a rather brutal line battle towards their port, I was screening them off the transports. and then... well they all entered port it seems. I was hitting spacebar so it autoaccepted, but im pretty sure thats what happened.
So the mission ends, but my TR's hadn't made it to the landing sight yet, and russia gets a victory.
I'm pretty certain this is unintended. Just figured I would let others know to be careful when fighting the enemy line towards their own port.

Probably worth bringing this up in the Bug Report Thread which can be found in the sub-boards at the top of the RTW2 forum and I will also link here.

I have had a similar experience - three times! As Italy, invading Djibouti from Eritrea, over several months the game generated bombardment missions in suppport of the invasion. Problem seemed to be that as France had no ships in the Indian ocean (I assume, can't remember now) There were only a few corvettes in the mission. On running into these on the way to the LT and sinking them the mission would end as "France has no more ships at sea" - but as I hadn't destroyed the target yet it got chalked up as a French victory. On the third time I took a very circuitous route to the target but still ran into them.
I realise now I should have hit hold fire or whatever the button is in the division screen to stop the ships firing, but I didn't think of that at the time/catch all the support DDs in time. I got my Djibouti in the end.
Could this be fixed to a win maybe if the enemy has no forces to prevent the bombardment?
Anyway, Tell your ships to hold fire if you see a lone KE on the way to a bombardment misison.
