Even though I have developed, torpedo bombers, dive bombers, medium bombers, aircraft carriers, arrestor wires, catapults, have a CVL in service for almost a decade.... I can only get fighters, and float planes.
Once I was able to put in an order for torpedo bombers after viewing the GB had one but it failed after a few months. Then I put in another order and again it tells me That role for aircraft is not known at present.
It is now 1931 and I am still getting that even though I have had torpedo bomb technology since the teens.
Bugs can be difficult to track down unless there is sufficient information to allow the developer to recreate the issue. Every bit of additional information you can provide helps. If you can, please answer as many of the questions below as possible when you enter a bug, it will make it much more likely that we can solve the issue.
When did you start the game - 1900 or 1920?

What were you doing when the bug occurred?
Only occurs when requesting a proposal for Aircraft type
What did you expect to happen and how was the result you saw different than you expected.
I expect after i have had the technology and other carrier support technology to be able to put in a bid. But will not let me.
Can you describe how to reproduce the bug?
Normal play as CSA, my friend has never had this though he does not play CSA.
What version of the game were you playing (v1.00, v1.01, etc)?
Started in 1.00 persists in v1.02
If the bug describes an issue with being unable to start or run the game, please include:
Installation location
Operating system
Visuals are always useful. Please feel free to attach any images that help describe the issue. It might be useful to attach a saved game. The best way to do this is to zip up the entire save game directory (e.g. Game4) into a single zip file and attach it to your post.
We also strongly recommend you to set the game to autosave at regular intervals. Check in the options screen that autosave is turned on. If there is a bug that crashes the game or causes problems, in most cases it will be possible to continue from the autosave.
You load the autosave by clicking load game, then selecting your game in the list, but instead of clicking "Load", you click the button to the lower left labelled "Load Autosave".
