1919: Modern BCs on my side, playing as Germany and leading the war by 2k points. The ruskie BCs is from 1908. Result: 2 Ge BC sunk, one by turret flash fire. 2 UK BC sunk, one also by turret flash fire. :/ Russia: 3 BCs non sunk with dmg 1hvy and 2 medium. Kaiser was furious, losing 1 prestige. Russia now in the lead with 500 warscore

Russia now in the lead with 500 warscore If you have better ships it is always good to keep distance. To be in your immunity zone and hit hard your enemy. You can close if enemy turrets are out but if they are not you always risk enemy can penetrate you and there can be very bad luck.

Yeah, I usually keep distance but this 2 turret explosions was both russia ranging shots. Bad luck x2 IMHO

Yeah, I usually keep distance but this 2 turret explosions was both russia ranging shots. Bad luck x2 IMHO I have always enough armour for turret tops for any range as it is quite cheap. Usually 7-8" at later in game.

If my ships stay in safe zone (about 10 000 to 15 000 yards +-), my ships hit nothing and the result is just a waste of all of ammo without sinking a single ship...

About 1915-1925, with 50% or 70% global research. Even with directors its a hell of a luck to sink a single battleship in a fleet battle without getting close and personal...
