A huge thanks to jeanstrategywargamer for doing all the editing and making this sound much more professional than... *ahem* ... I mean, for making this sound just as professional as it was. (This was surely hours of work, making a much more polished end product.) Jean is too nice of a guy to do it himself, so for those interested you can find his website here: the-strategy-wargamer.tumblr.com/Besides myself, Jean, and of course Fredrik, the last person invovled was Matt "THG" TheHistoricalGamer, who runs a hugely successful YouTube channel (much bigger and better than my own) at: www.youtube.com/channel/UC3H5lJfctAJRgHzY3JIuwswPeople may be particularly interested in his PBEM series against XTRG in Gary Grigsby's War in the Pacific. And, of course many thanks to Fredrik for taking the time to be subjected to our questions, and for making this wonderful game series to begin with!

Kudos! I'm right at the part where Fredrik starts talking about the Yamato and the Armor calculations... Gotta get some popcorn...

I really appreciate it. it did takes a hours over a few days, I wanted it to come out good, especially since the interview will be listened to well in the future. I still have people listening to the John Tiller Interview I did in 2014.

Thanks to everyone involved in setting up and making this available. Interesting to hear the processes involved in the development of RTW2 and it's predecessors. Good to hear Fredrik uses the forum's suggestions. Is it possible this interview format could be something that occurs on a semi-annual basis?
Thanks again.
Tortuga; you missed your chance about Order of Battles!!!

It was a great interview. I expect Fredrik will put together a great set of patches and hopefully one DLC before he moves on to his game in space. I bet that's what he does next.

One of the designers at SSG once said, 'sooner or later every wargamer heads off into Russia...'
I'm hoping we get expansions of RtW2 instead LOL. A 'space' re-skin would be very cool.

Well, they did have the RJW expansion for SAI, so I guess they went there already?

<snip> Tortuga; you missed your chance about Order of Battles!!! Haha, I didn't want to use the podcast as a platform for my personal agenda. Plus, I imagine most people are aware of my desire for ship role/OOB enhancements... (It seems like a relatively common suggestion.)
