Game could be restarted. Sadly war and battle not recoverable. My Germany was at war with UK having 11 CV and escorts against 21 UK BBs ans escorts. Did some 20 torpedo hits before it crashed.

swedewolf If you have a save from the game right before or right after it crashed please zip the save game folder up and post it here - if it's too large upload it elsewhere and post a link here, we can look at it to possibly see what occurred. Thanks.

Sorrry for the late answer but I just coming back from my sons wedding. So now back to gaming sorry all saves after my autosave iminent to war is lost. I can share some clue anyway. I used another way to launch my planes then just click on launch raid from scratch. Meaning the grp was unready. Now I ready them first and right click on mission type to select sea raid. And the launch when air grp was ready. I guessing that is the intended way but first for me. Done many carrier missions before. Earlier mission I got some errors that had to clicked many time for each offende air or fleet group. But this the error specify problem with launching air groups tried to click them away. So one click for each group I launched. Then a fatal error or something, not 1000% sure but game froze and stoped my access to my machine and as mentioned before wasnt closeable. I will continue the game and do some more saves during next carrier battles to help you out.

Congratulations on your son's marriage swedewolf ! No problem with the save - if you encounter a serious issue in the future you can zip up that save and post/link to it here. Thanks!

Thanx for your kind words. Running the new version now. No errors encountered, not even minor ones.
