Japan, 1900 start, 1.04, very large fleet size modded to 9 on first turn, otherwise default.
I had an ancient armored cruiser, which had been made into a museum ship around the mid-1910s, go on active fleet status for whatever reason. Since there was no notification, I didn't notice until she popped up in a cruiser battle versus the Russians in 1940. Needless to say, she put quite a strain on her old 21-know engines running back into Hakodate! I know museum ships can theoretically be reactivated, but is this WAD or a bug? This happened once before in a game as Britain, where a pre-dreadnaught reactivated, also around the 1940s.

If you mobilize your fleet, museum ships are reactivated for active duty.

Oh ok. I guess I should mobilize manually then, not much utility in mobilizing a 21-knot armored cruiser in 1940. Thanks for the info.
