I've really been enjoying the game so far. I think Fredrik and the rest of the team really did a great job on this latest version. So glad there was a follow up version to RTW1. It's a great game and I can't think of any other game out there anything like it. I know Hearts of Iron IV has a "ship designer", however, it's incredibly simplistic and not very immersive. All you do is add 4 or 5 "components" to "slots" for your ships; nothing at all like the complexity (yet intuitiveness) of the RTW ship designer. I've dabbled a time or two with Springsharp and the RTW ship designer reminds me of a much more streamlined version of it. I couldn't for the life of me figure out all the odds and ends of Springsharp so it was a welcome relief when I discovered RTW1. Kudos to Fredrik, William and the whole team and thanks for continuing to support this great, one of a kind game!!!

Seconded, my good man. I love this game - it's very niche and obviously extreme amounts of effort have gone in (and still are going in) to making it absolutely perfect. Good show, guys. Thank you!

HOI with Naval rework MOD(Sadly no longer up to date) does kinda of a good job in making the ship designers slightly more meaningful, still nothing compared to RTW but I guess they got better submarine designing than us But yeah RTW2 have been contributing to my unhealthy life style more so than anything else recently x.x

Yes, this game is what the new "golden age" of independent gaming is about, new ideas and concepts done even for a "niche" market.

This will be with RTW1 the only game which I start again and again after finishing playing it without break more than 2 years.

Suffice to say RTW1 was a major inspiration for parts of it.
Absolutely second everything garychildress said. Despite the fact that there's a few bits that still need some ironing out, the game right now is incredibly fun and a very worthy successor to RTW1, and from what I recall of how RTW1 developed over its lifespan, it will only get better.

RTW 2 is the great extension to the great game. Now I'm understanding, that it was a fortune I couldn't buy it in spring - this probably saved my work, and gave my daughter more cardboard toys than expected And now I finally have time to CRASH DIVE in it! Thanks a lot to Fredrik and all!!!

It just occurred to me you are the maker of Naval Rework mod xD. I always felt the steam picture of the mod uploader on workshop was familiar but couldn't figure out where. In any case, the fact that Naval Rework was updated just might make me give the latest HOI4 patch a try.
