Dug through the posts here but couldn't find anything on it; but in regards to designing a ship, whenever I try to create an X over Y turret setup for the rear guns; it appears that the Y turret is a bit too far back, and not partway underneath the barrels of X turret as in the original RTW. In addition, when having a set up of secondaries with dual guns (in a 10*2 setup), the left aft turret is slightly skewed up and inwards in relation to its partner on the right. Attachment Deleted

You've run into a vector object stacking issue. The last turret that you select will be drawn on top of any other turrets you have selected earlier. If you add the Y-aft turret last it will draw on top of the X turret. To fix this delete the X turret and then add it again. It will be drawn on top of the aft turret.
This tends to occur naturally because most of us start at the top of a list and work our way down. Since the aft turret is at the bottom of the list, it is normally selected last, so it gets drawn on top of any other turrets.
The secondary turret issue is probably just a minor code error in placement.

Thanks for the reply! I caught on to that when playing RTW1 but this seems to be a little bit more complex than that. In the previous game I could easily fix the turret issue in the suggestion you gave, but in RTW2 this doesn't seem to work at all. Is there any other way around this issue (or to fix it) by chance? Thanks, Imp
