I can't get them to work. Maybe it works in particular circumstances, but I can't get it to play nice.

I wonder why no one is talking about this? I still cant get 4x cats to work on carriers after getting Angled Flight Deck tech. That's the tech we all wait for and pour research into on carriers. It's broken.

The only effect of the Angled Flight Deck technology that I know of is enabling two extra flight deck catapults, and I don't find flight deck catapults particularly useful for big carriers, myself. Launching fighters and recon planes without having to turn into the wind is mostly a minor convenience; carriers still need to turn into the wind to launch strikes and recover anything, and between CAP, reconnaissance, inoperable aircraft, losses, and the possibility that you want to hold aircraft in reserve you probably won't need to be able to spot more than the half or so of your air group that you're allowed without catapults - not that the catapults would make a notable difference on a big carrier at one extra plane spotted per catapult anyways.
