Had a coordinated alpha strike pound a poor isolated TR into oblivion - it took 16 bomb hits (TR 8 right above the out of memory dialog). When getting details I get access violations for that ship, plus when I tried to look at it in the log it first gave me an access violation, then an out of memory (and now the logs show up grey - I posted about this before a month or so ago). I suspect that you might have some sort of overflow going on when you calculate damage.... Here's a couple of screen shots (the access violation is AFTER the out of memory - I was going back into details). I'll reply to this thread with a save (version = 1.0.5b). Got an interesting error when I saved: Attachment Deleted[EDIT] Just exited and reloaded from save. No access violation, but when I looked at the log for TR Merchant 8 (the offending ship) it only has 3 entries - a single bomb hit then 2 "Evading air attack!". So maybe it's the log that's corrupt.

More weirdness - when I look at the battle stats after restoring the save, ships that were in port are doubled: Attachment DeletedNote the doubled names in the Stats, plus there were only 4 GB lightly damaged CV. Hope this helps....

Might be a memory leak - will check that out...thanks.
If you see this again, if you can, bring up the Windows Task Manager and record how much system memory RTW2.exe is using at that point, that might help us.

Might be a memory leak - will check that out...thanks. If you see this again, if you can, bring up the Windows Task Manager and record how much system memory RTW2.exe is using at that point, that might help us. You're welcome. I did check the task manager the last time this showed up (~4 weeks ago?). I wasn't close to blowing memory on the machine, but after I posted someone (OldPop?) implied that you guys might be a 32-bit app. Don't remember if I took a screen shot at the time. I have a vague recollection that there was a tiny linear of ramp-up in the memory usage history (the green line ), but I didn't look at it closely since overall machine memory wasn't near saturation. Don't remember if I've got a screen shot in that post or not. If I run into it again I'll grab a task manager shot for you. John
