Option for realistic ship graphics size?

At the moment it seems ship graphics are artificially enlarged on the combat map (probably to make them easier to see on the map), would it be possible to have a checkbox option to shrink the ship graphics to their actual relative sizes?

Yes please. It's bloody hard to ram with the oversize.
