I posted in the suggestions thread to give us a toggle to turn off the Friendly Ship in Line of Fire that prevents torpedos from firing. But after a careful look at the behavior, this feature is not WAI.
I've witnessed multiple occasions where torpedoes will not fire despite most of the following ALL being true simultaneously:
1. there isn't a friendly ship anywhere near a firing solution, crossing the firing solution or going to be anywhere near the firing solution at anytime during firing or at a later time when the torpedo would arrive at the enemy ship. 2. friendly ship is not anywhere near the enemy ship 3. friendly ship is not anywhere near the firing ship 4. friendly ship is not anywhere within a 315 degree arc of firing ship and is on the opposite side of the firing ship from where the torpedo target is 5. friendly ships are in a row with proper spacing and no following ship is overtaking or out of line of the lead ship that is firing.
I'd provide a screenshot, but that's a waste of time. This feature is bugged. It does not WAI. It prevents torpedoes from firing for no reason. Please provide a toggle in the next patch to TURN IT OFF.
