Sir, main division is 1,590nm away in the English Channel.

Captain:
1,590nm away... That's kinda far away, huh? Helmsman, how long to intercept?

Helmsman:
Uh, sir... 79 hours at best speed and fuel consumption. 

Captain:
So 3 and a half days?

1st officer:
Plenty of time to get some needed bunk rest. We can even shoot Sven's pork sausages off the catapult again. That was a load of fun. 

Captain:
Plot a course, Helmsman! We'll get there! In the meantime, let's get that boxing match from those guys in the boiler room going on the flight deck. What was that guy's name, Jacobsen? Mean left jab!...



Division 10 was off the coast of Cherbourg as was the CA division. I made sure to list the OOB so you could see where it arranged my forces. My battlecruiser division 6 spawned directly atop a French warfleet and was utterly annihilated in seconds.

Wow, janxol , those light cruisers are waaaaay off course, hehe. Glad it's not just me. That'd mean 1.10+ broke other nation mods, cuz I'm suing the Netherlands mod. But if it's also happening to you on an Italian campaign, yours is stock, yes? You aren't using the Regia Marina mod? Shouldn't release patches that break mods unless you absolutely have to. All the mods would have to be updated and that'd suck... I hope they are able to fix it and not require nation mods to have their missions be redone.

So it's probably the patch when they increased the distance between enemy ships when carriers come out. Come to think of it, this sorta thing didnt start happening until some time after I got carriers. So it's probably in the patch changes.

cruisers? can you see where the CARRIERS ended up? I'm using the default/stock spain nation. It started happening in 1.10 or 1.11 yes, together with spawining in the middle of enemy formations. Now in 1.11 ships dont always spawn inside enemy fleet, so apparently they do this instead.

WOW! I didnt notice the carriers on the far eastern side, lmao! I wonder who was further apart? My forces at 1590nm or yours? It looks close!

But you're right, when they went 1.11 you dont always spawn inside another enemy division, only sometimes.

Not sure if it's related, but in a convoy defence mission my ships (a DD squad) spawned about 50nm from the convoy, so the convoy got promptly torpedoed to hell by the much closer-spawned enemy forces before my DDs could arrive to help.
