The Cabatirpitz-class seems more than able to handle the Tigers. Perhaps you were looking for something more economical, though. The OKM are leaning towards a uniform class of BBs, possibly followed by BCs later.

OKM BC4 battlecruiser
This is another OKM design. It's a battlecruiser based on the Cabatirpitz but with quad guns.

Reminds me of some Japanese cruisers. An intriguing design.

OKM BB2x4 Battleship
The OKM BB2x4 is considered a balanced design: not particularly big, fast or heavily armed. Its 16" guns are considered necessary to defeat the 15" belt armour of the Victorious class.

OKM BB3x4 battleship
The BB3x4 is a scaled up BB2x4, with an extra 16" turret in the B position. Belt armour has also been slightly increased.

OKM BB-Monster
Finally the OKM has completed preliminary design work on a 67,500 ton Monster class battleship with 16x16" guns. it is thought that the large number of guns would allow it to get the first hit in against a British battleship.

Seem good, but the deck... the deck... ...sub omni canone in 1924. The problem with heavy deck armour is it weighs a lot which means less weight for something else. Deck armour is important for long-range hits, whereas belt armour is more important for shorter range hits. Since it is easier to hit things at shorter ranges, belt armour is more important.

March 1924 -- outcome of the Imperial Defence Committee meeting
The Imperial Defence Committee has come to its conclusions regarding future warship construction:
- the remaining large warships that do not yet have improved directors will have them fitted - a CVL, the Adler will be build. This is Germany's first purpose build CVL - a flottila of 10 "Friss Fisch" destroyers based on captainloggy's proposal will be built - battleships will be build based on Dorn's 2nd Weissenburg proposal - Germany will put as much as possible into mothballs/reserve to afford more battleships - enhanced gunnery training will commence, timed to reach a peak of efficiency when the Weissenburg BBs are ready - Germany will continue to build submarines to starve Britain out (in the event of war)
We thank everyone who took part in the ship design competition

July 1924
Italy has declared war on us! They were concerned about our military buildup in Tunisia. Fortunately we have a large fleet than them, so we may be able to grab Sardinia from them.
Obviously all our plans of a fleet against Britain go out of the window now.

September 1924
We have invaded Sardinia (heavy fighting is still going on there) and our submarines sunk 57 Italian merchant ships in the last month. The italians will probably capitulate soon.
There is however a problem with Italian raiders off West Africa. We will send some CAs after them.

October 1924
Two Cabatirpitz BCs encountered 2 Italian BCs off Sardinia, and sank them.
