The promised war with England didn't come. The government has however cleverly negotiated a disarmament treaty where the British have to scrap 4 battleships, and we scrap none.
Time to build aircraft carriers?

August 1930 - Italian attempted invasion of Rhodes
Italy tried to invade Rhodes. Their invasion force was intercepted by a German fleet of 12 battleships. Even though the German forces were outnumbered, they managed to sink all the enemy troop transports and multiple battleships. Germany didn't lose any ships larger than a destroyer.

Italian invasion of Rhodes (continued)
German battleships managed to keep on fighting even when hit by multiple shells and torpedoes. I think this points to future battleships being as well protected as possible.

December 1934
Fought a battle in the English Channel against the French. Being able to use English ports has been a big help to us.
We lost 3 battleship, they lost 3, so a victory.
Mention must go to the Weissenburg3 which survived 6 torpedo hits. Tough old thing.

October 1935
After a series of fleet battles, the Marine Nationale is no longer likely to bother us as most of it is at the bottom of the sea. In the latest battle, we lost the Nassau3, an old battleship that was due for retirement anyway.
