Year 1924 Royal Navy has just commissioned brand new light cruiser of Phaeton class with 3x3x6" guns. But Royal Navy does not have triple turrets technology for CL even now, so certainly when design was prepared. Note: there some other examples as above torpedo tubes, DP guns etc. but this one example is much worse as ship of that "technology" is built several years ahead. Save included. Game4.7z (202.04 KB)

Hi dorn - are you playing with any sort of randomized tech in this game? Hi williammiller, Not at all. I think it is similar issue as with DP guns, underwater torpedo tubes, AA guns, ASW equipment etc. The game probably uses templates and does not check if proper technology is invented. Tripple turrets for CL at time that others does not have even double turrets get quite an advantage as oppose to other equipments.

1.17.
Russia built an 89,900 ton behemoth in 1937 when their dock size was only 69,000 tons. Has 18” belt, 9x20” guns. Pretty scary ship. They have another under construction. The USA also built an 89,900 ton ship with the same main gun armament but with a 16” belt and their dock size is only 71,000.
None of the other nations are cheating like those two.

This could mean that your intelligence was unable to accurately assess the size of the docks in other countries. Perhaps the same happened when the Japanese deployed Yamato and Musashi. I read somewhere that the USN believed they were 57,000 ton ships with 16 inch guns.
