This may be too much to ask but what about the Dido- and Atlanta-esque turret layouts that allow for superfiring over the normal AB pair? I realise this may screw with the designer but it would be nice for realism's sake. There would probably need to be a hard maximum gun calibre (~8"?) to prevent stupid zero stability designs and perhaps a susceptibility to rough weather.

After super-superfiring main guns, I want centerline guns for carriers and centerline secondaries (including super-super-superfiring ones like on the Stalingrad)!
You could possibly have them weigh extra to simulate the increased displacement required to avoid stability problems without a hard cap.
Many threads on this, but maybe we will see them one day. RTW3?

I do like the idea, and think that it should be developed further.
For now, a new tech early-mid 1930s called "Improved Super-Firing" that unlocks the W and C turrets ability to shoot over the other turrets would be a start.

I recently learned something that may be applicable here; because the Atlanta's turrets had to be so close together, they actually had a slightly reduced firing arc (~240 degrees, rather than ~270 degrees, as on most designs). Perhaps this could be utilised as a further penalty to super-superfiring guns?
