Is there a way to modify this to use a radio button selection rather than the 3 buttons of current choice?
Several times I've moved a little too fast in pressing the space bar and wound up putting the heavy ships to bed when that wasn't intended (usually because I'm not considering this may occur). Other times, I've intended to put the entire fleet to bed but again only put the heavies away.
I feel a small trade off in user-friendliness is worth being a little less open to user error.

Space bar should be for pause only, use enter and mouse to interact with dialogues.

Space bar should be for pause only, use enter and mouse to interact with dialogues. I use space bar to advance single turns in combat. I didn't notice there is a way certain inputs "are to be used". To me your post seems unnecessarily condescending. However i had the same issue as OP more than once. Maybe just put the default selection to "no" ? Shouldn't take much work and would easily fix the issue, as people intending to put the ships in port and accidentally don't could just about turn and retry, while getting ships back out of port is not possible afaik.

You misunderstand, I was saying that the space bar should not interact with dialogues as it currently does.

To be fair, I read it firstly as lucur did, then re-read it and decided it was meant the other way
