Hello all.
My good friend Mata Hari has managed to secure details of a new US CA design.
How do I view the design and will it automatically add any design updates to my building options?

Open the almanac, click the national flag (USA in this case), then click the ships tab. Find the ship name, then double click it to see the ship card. Unfortunately, that is all the information they have picked up for you - and this may not be 100% accurate.
The only technological advances you may gain are the simple ones, such as mounting extra turret - basically any tech which doesn't require a huge amount of engineering work to get operating reliably.

If you want to review the espionage reports that come in as interturn pop-up messages, you need to take a screenshot of the message and save it somewhere.
You can't view Almanac information for ships under construction or refitting, and the information available in the Almanac is not necessarily the same as the information which was provided in an interturn espionage report - it's frequently less complete and may disagree with the report on details like maximum armor thickness.

I can confirm that the almanac reports, even for ships that are complete and you did get full spy info on them, are not complete. There is no way to view a spy report after you close it, the almanac for that ship will not reveal more information or even update the inaccuracies.
Perhaps something to consider for the expansion update?

Being very sad and lame in my more committed campaigns I have taken to keeping screen shots for future reference but yes alas no ingame storage of intel at present. |
