I like that Aycworth design! I can't imagine that it would be good for anything, but at least it's cute and cheap!
Those Revenge-esque designs are quite nice, although much larger than historical! Was the high tonnage intentional, or is it just that hard to build accurate designs in game? I suspect the key to those Brandenburgs is overwhelming numbers, drowning anything that gets too close in 15in shells.
The Regina Margherita and Colbert look like some weird G3/N3 crosses that actually turned into good ships!

I play on low research (starting at 30% rising to 90% by the twenties, I tweak the Jan save game files every so often) so I have relatively larger dock yards for the tech level than might otherwise be the case. It is often hard to get functionality close to IRL designs at less generous tonnages (bearing in mind that these are full load). This run used a lot of semi-historical (never were types too) designs I've created sprinkled with a bunch of tweaked versions of both vanilla and Seawolf's for variety.
