It is my sad duty to announce that Christopher Dean, NWS Store Owner/Operator, passed away this last evening: Dec 1, 2021. He was an associate of mine for 20+ years, but more importantly he was a good friend for whom I could always count on. He will be sorely missed by myself and those who knew him - Chris would always have a kind/funny thing to say to perk up someone who was down, and IMHO he truly cared about "his" customers, personally telephoning and speaking to many of them over the years about their store issues, and sometimes even just to see how they were doing.
If you purchase/recently purchased RTW2 you may PM me on these forums and I will activate your game for you, and will continue to do so as needed. I will state the following because it is something that Chris and I discussed after his wife Chininia passed away a few weeks ago: Wargames are our passion, and not just a 'job' for us. NWS is still an ongoing thing, and we will still continue to produce and market our games, including certain existing and future (such as the upcoming RTW2 Expansion) games.
The NWS Online Store is closed since apparently it is part of the estate probate process. After things get back to some sort of semblance to normal I will be putting NWS games (such as 'Steam and Iron', 'Rule the Waves' series, etc) that we have an active agreement with the developers with, up again for purchase on a new site and I will make an announcement when that happens.
Thank You and God Bless.

I wanted to wait a bit before dealing with this subject, but after a number of questions regarding the NWS Online Store today I have decided to post what I know (and understand right now) about the status of the store to be as transparent as possible: Christopher was the Owner and Operator of the NWS Online Store, and (as I understand it) his wife was also listed as the same when the new store was setup last year. Christopher never did (and I might add never intended to from my knowledge) incorporate NWS nor the Online Store, so with the passing of both Chris and his wife it would appear that all assets of the store (any stock/product, monies held in account, etc) and all liabilities (monies owned for stock, etc) are legally part of his estate, which will undergo probate (in court) as most estates have to undergo. As I am neither a beneficiary nor an owner I cannot legally do anything with the Online Store myself...even if I had the access to do so, which I do not. For anyone who has any interest in the store (you are still owed product, etc) please keep checking in here and I will do my best to update you (and everyone) as to the current status and or any changes with all of this. Thank you for your time, and God Bless. NOTE: The below addition is for those folks not from/in the US - this may help you understand the probate process a bit better: The NWS Store Owner/Operator, Christopher Dean passed away a few days ago. In the US when someone passes away, their assets/properties and liabilities are handled by a court called a probate court, wherein anyone owned monies can file a claim against the deceased assets to attempt to reclaim any monies owed. The court takes into account available monies and claims and makes decisions on how the estates assets and monies are to be distributed, also taking into account any legal Will left by the deceased. The probate court will assign an administrator (this would not be myself) for the estate who will decide where the monies from the estate go, who gets what assets, etc. The NWS Online Store has been closed and its records will be sent to the probate court.
The online store was a property owned by Christopher, and as such its assets (monies held in account, stock, etc) and liabilities (monies owed to creditors, items still owned to customers, etc) are subject to adjudication by the probate court. Since I was not an owner of the store I am not privy to, nor can I influence or make petition to, what the probate court decides to do with the stores assets, unfortunately.
Here is a link that explains the US probate court process in more detail:

I have been asked about possible donations to honor Chris' passing:
Both Chris and his wife were passionate cat owners, and both of them were also very involved in the rescue of cats with the Humane Society and other organizations. I know they would appreciate folks donating to either their local Humane Society or other Animal Rescue organizations to help out their favorite feline friends.
Thanks.

If you have lost or otherwise need a new download link for the RTW2 game you may PM me with your RTW2 order number and your email address, I can then give you a link to download the installer. Please note that you must present a valid RTW2 order number for me to do this at this time.
Thank You.
