I'd say the Billy Ruffian (HMS Belerophon) would be the most interesting ship of the line to have kept, if it was even saveable back then (IDK) but we do at least have a British ship of the line (not the classic 74 though, which the BR is). Must at least be a contender for the warship to feature in the most songs if nothing else? (Now theres a whole new thread I won't open up!)

HMS Implacable (a 74) made it to 1949, but neither the British or the French felt able to spend the (considerable) amount of money to preserve it.
I understand their decision, but a part of me has to say "Damn!"

For something of 'roughly' the same period as Mikasa, I highly recommend the USS Olympia, on display in Philadelphia. She is almost entirely intact, though serious preservation is needed.

Not Rule the Waves, but in modded Cold Waters, I was playing a Soviet campaign with a Kirov and as I attacked at close range a SAG detected on radar, I fired my last heavy missiles at it, wrecking most of the ships with a handful of survivors (either through hard-kill or jamming of the SS-N-19). Everything was fine and dandy with me closing in for the kill with either dual-purpose SAM, guns or torpedoes until I saw what ship was the centerpiece of the SAG: a modernized Iowa.
Cue the mighty nuclear-powered missile cruiser getting a "oh crap" moment as the very angry museum ship was entering pursuit, firing 406 mm shells at it.

That reminds me of an old Harpoon game aar I read about a few years back. A Soviet SAG with some sub support against a US SAG with sub support. The battle was pretty devastating for both sides but the Soviets were winning by a nuke strike taking care of most of the US SAG. Just enough survived however to counterattack. It was an Iowa. Barely functionable and the crew dead men sailing but still had its main guns and was faster that the surviving Soviets.
Needless to say the Soviets didn't live long after coming under fire from the Iowa.

It was the game done by Ixjac from Spacebattles and I definitely remembered it when that happened, but unlike his game, I didn't sneak on the Soviets using a large storm nor did have frigate escorts sacrificing themselves to take the direct hits from the nuclear-tipped cruise missiles.
