Ever have the enemy slip away and you can't find them? Ever have your Two-Phase Search come up with nothing even on Partly Cloudy days? Well, if you're like me, this can be a pita because NOT finding the enemy carriers can give you a really bad day. So what to do about it? Well, under the 'Handle Cap and Recon' button that opens the 'Routine Air Ops' window, You initially can use this to find enemy whereabouts. But this whole affair seems like a wasted opportunity. It's basically a use once item. You might get to use it twice if the scenario rolls around to the morning where your planes will do another search, but beyond that, this game feature is a use ONCE item. In my experience, I often do not make contact with the enemy... and then I'm faced with the prospect of MANUALLY having to plot out a search pattern with my carriers, as you can see in the pic above, where I have to cover 400 miles of considerable search area, I'd have to plot maybe 12-13 planes to cover that search area and it could take up to 15 minutes or more to do. Can we please have changes made to the Routine Air Ops window? Here's what would really make the game better: 1. Let there be another button in addition to 'OK' to 'Initiate Search'. This way I can just send out another search if the first one failed and I can use 'OK' if all I want to do is adjust my CAP. These two features need to be separated on the Routine Air Ops Window. I should be able to adjust my CAP on the fly without affecting Search and vice versa. 2. Let there be a drop down menu for the type of search planes I want to use. Make the default Torpedo Bomber, but let me change it to any other plane to perform the search if I want. I can't think of anything else atm. So just those two things would make a HUGE difference! Thanks
