I made a thread asking for this and I was told to mod line 5 in the BCS file which is in C/RuleTheWaves2/Save/Game1. But when I go there there is nothing. Where is the save file so I can edit things to how I want them with the big fleets.

I started my Fleet Size 12 games with a "Super Size" fleet, saved at game start and then modded that to increase the Fleet Size (and significantly change quite a few other things too!). My RN play through uses extra big fleets for everyone but I had to design all those myself and then mod them in as alt start fleets, rather like Seawolf's historical mods I imagine?

Nope, as far as file explorer goes. But I am able to load my games. The game sees the save file when I start it up so I don't know why I can't see anything in the file explorer.

Have you found the "Rule the Waves" game folder at all?

Yes. That's why I'm here asking how to fix it. Yes, I'm sorry I've noticed how rude my "have you found it" post may have seemed, I was thinking that the address line suggested to you might have been wrong for your own install... Mine is not in the C drive for example. I'll have a play tomorrow and see if I can duplicate your problem somehow, not sure if that will necessarily help though?

Best way is not install RTW in ProgramFiles directory as windows protect this directory against change and move save folder.
Look at your profile folder, it will be somewhere there.

Yes, this could be the issue. Though I've checked mine and though my RTW2 is not in the ProgramFiles dir my old RTW (1) is and I can certainly also reach into the old saves there and mod them so not clear why Alpha is having this problem?? I am even able to reach into that in-game (from RTW2) and lift old designs from that into the the design screen (they generally need some work to be made legal for RTW2 obvs) for re-birthing.
