For the second time ever, I've reached the stage where I can mount SAMs on my ships.
Which begs a few questions:
- are they functional?
- are they any good?
- does that mean I can finally defend myself against endless pin-point accurate air attacks?
Back to the topic. When placing them I immediately noticed that when I place the SAMs in usual positions (A, B or X,Y) they're overlapping a lot. After that I also discovered, that the B and X SAM mounts are on top of the A and Y turrets. So in order to get a reasonable look you have to choose something like C and V for mounting positions.
