Version 1.26 (and previous) Nation: 1900 Germany
Every now and then I notice ships of the same class having different maintenance. Usually, that is because they are not in home waters or under repair. However, this must be a bug, right?

I suspect that it's a bug.
Out of curiosity, what is all of that tonnage going into? On the surface, 9x16in and 12x7in doesn't seem like much firepower for a 63,000 thousand ton ship.
I'm guessing that the secondaries are very well armored and that its pretty much just a floating brick, but I'd like to hear where all that tonnage is going if you care to tell me!

I find it interesting that it is the ship with a "fair" crew that cost more maintenance than the ones with a "good" crew. I mean, I could rationalize it, in that the good crew is more apt at keeping the ship in shape, so maintenance costs are lower, but I've never read about such a mechanic. Edit: zederfflinger Probably something like this

Pretty much what hawkeye suspects: 16.5" belt, 5" deck, 18" turrets and 6" secondaries oh and 145 rounds per gun - and I'm still running out all the time. I find it interesting that it is the ship with a "fair" crew that cost more maintenance than the ones with a "good" crew. Yea I thought so too, but a couple of turns later the crew skills became equal and the price difference stayed.

I've pushed this report to our internal issues thread for evaluation.
