Hey, i know im late to the party but i was wondering what building a nations first aircraft carriers would be like in the new game? many nations first aircraft carriers were rebuilds of merchant ships so i was wondering if this would be recreatable in game? maybe it could be something like being given a popup when we want to build an aircraft carrier say before 1925 that allows us to pick from a group of merchants that we could rebuild? it could be anything from a collier like uss langley or an ocean liner like hms argus? maybe one like langley would be less expensive but obviously be slow and very light, whilst an ocean liner would be more expensive but have far more displacement to play with, also maybe coming at a prestige cost as you are taking a nations premier ocean liner away? it may also be appropriate to have quite large upfront cost to buy a ship from its company, ik its probabaly too late to add this in now but maybe in a future update? Extending on this maybe in treaties we would be allowed to turn our now illegal battleships and battlecruisers into aircraft carriers?

It's worth noting that in RTW2 you can construct a carrier from a merchant ship, by converting an AMC to a carrier. Though that only works if you're at war, of course, due to the AMC rules.

What would be nice is if we could move our AMCs to the merchant marine postwar or mothball them and if we want to do a carrier conversion use one of those even during peace time
