Concerning a possible expansion to our (NWS) operations...

An announcement concerning possible changes that might affect our releases and scheduling:

We (NWS) are currently considering partnering with a company that would assist us in reaching a much wider audience/market for our games, especially for the upcoming RTW3 release. Considering the greatly increased resources & avenues that would be available to us, we believe that such an association would also allow for better quality releases on a number of platforms, including Steam and possibly others. This would also allow us to add more features and related items to the games that we create. This would, however, also mean that the RTW3 release would not be available until ~ early next year (Q1-2023) -  it is our belief that the resulting advantages and improvements of such an arrangement could be well worth such a delay, if we do choose this route.

I just wanted everyone to know about this possibility, since our decision on this would almost certainly affect the RTW3 release window as I mention above. I cannot at this time reveal any additional information about this since any discussion(s) are/would be private, but whatever our ultimate decision is we will certainly make an announcement on it here.

UPDATE REGARDING THE ABOVE:

After a great deal of consideration and discussion, I am excited to announce that we have indeed decided to 'join forces' with another company in order to widen the markets and reach for our (NWS) game lines. Due to confidentiality aspects of our initial agreement however, we cannot at this time reveal any additional details about any arrangement(s); when everything gets settled/finalized/ready both we and the other company will make joint announcements about everything, including release/info news for the "Rule the Waves 3" title.
