So, in light of RTW3's new release date I'm about to kick off another playthrough of RTW2, probably with an AAR of some sort. Any Mods I should really consider over others?

I was also thinking of playing one of the horsepower/speed mods, I like fast destroyers. Does anyone have experience with those?

I didn't really feel the need for the fast ship mods until playing more 1930+ games (I mostly play early games and rarely play that long, partly my fondness for WW1 ships and partly I don't much like the games treatment of airpower) but they are definitely worth it then! I wish the game allowed bigger destroyers (which I believe are coming in RTW3) too as 2500 tons (deep load at that) is rather cramped for the big 30s jobs. The various extra designs packs are interesting but I enjoy making my own so have built up my own selection to slot into the shop files. (See my rambling RN AAR for examples of, mostly earlier, efforts)
