I think it would be an easy option to add that when a fire damage event occurs on a carrier, CV or CVL, a pop up comes up pausing the battle asking if you want to stand down all that carrier's air groups. Manually this can be done. On many time accelerations the existence of fire starting on a carrier can be missed for some time. This is a quality of life update as the player can do all this >if< they notice the fire has started. The carrier crew itself really would be able to notice.
