Ok, talking to Matrix I get some (good) news: "If you purchase the game through Matrix Games, then Steam doesn't take its cut and we can still offer a free Steam Key to all registered owners." So, if you purchase via Matrix you can get both the Matrix version and a Key for Steam, and we (NWS) get a bit more compensation...so a 'win' for everyone I think. Of course if you choose to purchase directly from Steam that is fine, we very much appreciate your support no matter where you buy from! Thanks! Wonderful news, and perfect  |

Can I purchase physical copies from any country? I wish I could buy it from Japan. I'm not sure of the full list of countries that Matrix ships to - you could setup an order for another of their physical game products and check to see if shipping to Japan is an option (just cancel the order before you verify it...). Honestly, If there is anything I can really praise this new game about- not having played it, but watching so far- is that the new models look amazing! They look like actual ships instead of flat boxes with guns! Can't Wait (Well, technically I do have to . . . unfortunately) to get it!

I must confess that I am somewhat perplexed by the cost of the game. Did the first week discount plan get axed along the way? I was not expecting the game to cost quite as much, but I suppose that is the price of partnership. Hopefully the game will receive enough post launch support to make purchasing worthwhile.

I thought it was going to be as well, it might be just due to the partnership, sadly i am most likely going to miss out on the sale as my vehicle got vandalized, Unless they are running the sale for the first month or so. |

Owner of RTW1 and 2 and had been planning on buying this tonight. I am sure we were originally told that there would be a discount to existing RTW2 owners due to some promised late game features not being provided.
Disappointed.

I don't mind the price that much, but it seems that the early adopter discount was dropped somewhere along the way without any notice, and that is irritating. I'll probably still buy the game, but having to pay full price on a revised version of a game I already own hurts quite a bit. |
