Do shore batteries increase # of minefields along that coast? (I think I remember that from RTW 2.) If yes, is any size SB as good as any other?

Back on the topic, here is a 5in battery sinking a DD and wounding another so that ships can finish it off. Yay!

This is the scene where the minefield that the artillerymen worked so hard to place finishes off the CA. Two DDs were sunk by mines in this battle, one CA was hit by a 6in battery when it was slowed by a mine and sunk.

The 11 inch guns on Oscarborg fortress were backed up by several 6inch batteries on and across the fjord, so not quite denied.

Due to mindlessly clicking the wrong button, didn't get a shot from the battle, but in 1909 a mine from a shore battery was sufficient to sink a new-ish Russian BB. Attachments:
